About Mary Hogan
Mary Hogan is a spiritual seeker who works with individuals, groups, and organizations looking for clarity as they navigate choices that will lead to better ways of being. She has a practical eye that cuts through distractions that cloud understanding and a visionary perspective for what is needed to move toward deeper flourishing relationships.
Mary describes herself as a creative, curious soul who prefers joy but can walk through painful situations. “I attribute it to my Irish heritage that has given me a heart to sing as a swarm of bugs hit the windshield.” She holds dear her Catholic roots that taught her about God and the human mystics who held spiritual wisdom. She has traveled extensively, learning, and appreciating various cultures and religions.
Prior to her current work, Mary maintained a successful career in finance and marketing, underwriting insurance for major corporations. Her capacity for creative analytical assessment, quick decision-making, and resource development was tested and fine-tuned as an executive.
After 25 years, she transitioned from a for-profit setting to service work, bringing a unique blend of practically-grounded management experience and a passion for spiritual self-discovery.
Mary completed a graduate degree in Pastoral Studies at Loyola University Chicago, where she went on to obtain a Certificate in Spiritual Direction. Upon completion, she worked as executive director, spiritual director, facilitator, and trainer at the Claret Center in Chicago, IL. The Claret Center offers wellness resources which include psychotherapy, spiritual discovery, and body therapies. Mary is a kundalini yoga teacher and has studied mind and meditation in India.
Currently, Mary resides in Utah where she hikes, bikes, and meditates among beautiful desert canyon terrain. She works with clients locally at the Red Mountain Resort, The Bridge Health Recovery Center, and St. George Catholic Church. She provides workshops and one-to-one spiritual companioning via zoom or as a visiting facilitator.
